Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

I want to oppose the development of the 2nd runway at Gatwick airport. The airport already causes excessive disturbance to neighbouring communities, especially with the high level of night flights over the summer months. The Government should be encouraging more airport capacity outside of the South East as part of levelling up. I don't believe that we need to add two runways in the South East, but should focus elsewhere to drive economic growth and reduce the need for internal travel within the UK.
