There are many issues which would impact should the Gatwick expansion go ahead. An increase in aircraft noise, which is worse throughout the summer months when windows are open. The world is on fire as some may say, climate change is a huge issue in this day and age, increasing flights / air pollution is unnecessary and only adds to this very real issue. Our home value is likely to decrease should this go ahead, moving is not an option. There is also the issue with air quality, I can walk outside my house into the garden now and again, and all I can smell is aircraft fuel, it’s disgusting. I can only imagine that becoming more frequent. There is no existing second runway currently operating in conjunction with the main runway (it is only used when the main runway is not being used) – so Gatwick is misleading residents about the current existence of a ‘second’ runway
