I am concerned about the environmental impact of this proposal when as a nation we should be putting less planes in the sky, not more, to reach net zero. Planes should be more environmentally friendly to manage capacity without further damaging environment & so contribute to net zero. Not simply put more in sky. Furthermore the impact of such a major development on local residents is not just significant, it is massive. It is said for major infrastructure projects, those closest should be compensated. So if house prices fall, will you compensate the difference. Will you be offering free triple glazing & insulation to help reduce noise. Will you help fund cost living bills like fuel as compensation for your impact. Will you be offering greatly reduced or free flights ?
