Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

We live a couple of miles away from Hever Castle which is a Grade 1 listed heritage attraction set within a Grade 1 listed park and garden which, in itself, is within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As annual pass holders my wife and I frequently visit the castle grounds to walk and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the gardens, we also take visiting friends and family there as it is one of the nicest places to visit in the area. If the emergency runway at Gatwick is upgraded to a second runway there will undoubtedly be an increase in air traffic noise which will have a significantly adverse effect on the Castle grounds. I therefore oppose the change of use of the runway.
