I am very concerned at the current increase in noise on departure routes 3 & 4 so would definitely be opposed to even further increases in noise. There has already been an increase in traffic due to the existing growth of flights from Gatwick. Any further increase in traffic would put a wholly unacceptable stress on our already stretched poor local transport infrastructure. Further climate change and pollution is wholly undesirable. It’s not acceptable to further increase aid traffic in our area. Further development at Gatwick would further exacerbate flooding events, both near Gatwick and down stream. There is need to expand capacity at Gatwick. Heathrow, Luton and Stanstead are far better candidates for expansion and expansion there would not effect so many areas of outstanding natural beauty.
