- noise pollution - air pollution - potential loss of homeowner land - additional traffic so increased regulations/ tolls eg (ULEZ) - disruption to wildlife - traffic congestion I love the surrounding green land. I love where I live in the country. I do not want more roads, rail lines, car parks, hotels etc. Gatwick operates a good number of flights. If anything there should be increased evening flights to maximise capacity. After 4pm the airport is dead.
