We are in a climate crisis. The Government is committed to net zero by 2050. Expansion of Gatwick airport will facilitate and encourage increased use of air transport which will inevitably lead to increased carbon emissions. This is contra to the Government's climate policy and will further damage the climate to the detriment of human kind, especially those living in poorer parts of the world.
