Hello All, I live only ten minutes from Gatwick Airport. Since moving to Crawley Down in 1998, the traffic I am experiencing in my road alone has changed immensely, and largely because people commute to Gatwick to work, this alone has caused an increase in pollution, which I can personally see from seeing black powder on the leaves of my trees. An expansion of Gatwick airport, will further increase pollution on a very large scale, an increase to danger to human health is assured, increased damage to the environment, increase noise. This will inevitably ruin the surrounding that are already at stretched point with major expanding in all avenues already taking place in the area.
