The impact of noise from Gatwick airport is already very intrusive, and causing my husband and me stress and ill-health. To bring the northern runway into use would very seriously further adversely impact our lives and those of others in the village of Penshurst where we live, as well as reduce the worth of our property. The behaviour of Gatwick airport in this saga has been abominable, attempting to get what they want by stealth, and steamrolling ahead without any regard for the impact their actions will have on people’s lives. We are vehemently opposed to what will be, in effect, a second runway at Gatwick.
