There will be excessive impact on residents in the area. There will be considerable impact on the road infrastructure if more passengers and freight go through Gatwick. In view of climate change. efforts should be made to reduce flights and the impact of flying. If air travel and freight are essential, development should be made in the north of England where there is a demand for jobs and business opportunities The project will require demolition of existing homes, when housebuilding is an important issue. The project is claimed to provide jobs for a large number of people, but unemployment in this area is very low, and incoming employees will need somewhere to live, putting more pressure on housing and infrastructure.
