Further expansion of Gatwick goes against all the UK's commitments to reach net zero. Air travel is unsustainable. Transport policy needs to change to reduce the number of flights to and from the UK, and to divert passengers back to the railways. A rational public policy for air travel will reduce the required airport capacity.
