It is unacceptable that a second runway at Gatwick is even being considered, given that following consultation Heathrow was confirmed as the better option for expansion. Gatwick is not a hub, rather a holiday airport in a predominantly rural area, and is located on the wrong side of London to serve the majority of the country.
