Where I live is often directly under the flight path to Gatwick, both for incoming and outgoing aeroplanes. Night flying between midnight and 6 a.m. should be banned as it disturbs sleep, which has many consequences.Incoming planes should be kept to a regulated minimum height to reduce noise disturbance. The increase in road traffic if the airport is enlarged will be untenable. Flying should be greatly reduced because of Global warming. Aeroplane noise in the countryside is significantly more intrusive than over towns, which should be a routing consideration. A programme of planned rolling respite for all blighted communities should be mandatory. There should be no tax relief on jet fuel. Increase in flight path traffic and narrowing of flights paths. Congestion around airport on roads. Sustainability of aircraft
