Gatwick Airport is vital to the local economy of West Sussex and Surrey, providing employment opportunities for thousands of people. Gatwick has supported my career for many years and I'm really proud to work there. The airport's expansion would provide opportunities for many more local people to have fulfilling careers and contribute to the local and regional economy. Local communities benefit not only from jobs, but access to enhanced transport links to London and the wider southeast through Gatwick Airport Station and ongoing funding support for local public bus services.
