Flood water produced by the increased capacity of the airport will have a severe detrimental effect on the area, in particular the River Mole and its downstream residents. The airport has caused severe flooding in the past which has damaged property and put peoples lives at risk. I strongly object to any expansion for the following reasons. Climate Change - emissions will increase and we will not be able to meet our obligations Pollution - the area around the airport is already suffering from far too much air pollution caused by traffic, services and the airplanes. Flooding- the airport has been a major cause of dangerous flooding along the River Mole Noise - local residents cannot be expected to put up with more noise pollution
