If the application to use a second runway is given permission to go ahead I fear that the potentially massive increase in air traffic will have a deleterious effect on the surrounding area. There is bound to be an increase in aircraft noise,traffic,air pollution ,population and an increased need for housing.The result will be an unnecessary urbanisation and pollution of an area of natural beauty.
