With all of the effects of climate change leading to flooding, drought, fires, pollution, rising sea levels throughout the world, it is absurd that people are proposing to increase air traffic when we should be cutting down. The roads and towns are congested enough in the area without adding more vehicles that will come with the increased number of flights proposed for the Gatwick airport expansion. The noise pollution suffered by residents of Surrey, Kent, and Sussex close to the airport is already having a detrimental effect on their health and well-being.
