We object to this proposal. Our main objection is about the inevitable increase in noise pollution. We live under the flight path of Gatwick. The increase in traffic in recent years, which we understand to be because of new routing options, is dramatically damaging the peace and quiet of the village we live in, Leigh. A second runway and the resulting increase in traffic, will make matters worse. It would destroy an essential feature of life in the countryside, relative quiet. Thank you.
