The Committee on Climate Change states - "There should be no net expansion of UK airport capacity unless the carbon-intensity of aviation is in line with or ahead of the Government's pathway and can accommodate the additional demand." This condition has not been met and there is n evidence it will be met in the near future, and until it is, any expansion of airports and increase in flying should be shelved. Increased pollution, noise and congesition for local people is unfair and unacceptable.
