This is yet another example of the "will of the people" being dismissed. I have a further comment about the validity of those who call themselves Inspectors. Who appoints them and on what basis? Which of them has to pass a test of their impartiality and competence? Who chooses them and vets them? Why are those from Bristol frequently parachuted into areas where they have absolutely no interest, nor knowledge of the issues affecting the local community? In short why are inspectors the all powerful voice in planning matters when the public have no way of checking their abilities, or that they all speak according to a common standard of experience and knowledge?
