I have lives in Charlwood community all my life ,[redacted] years and I don’t consider that a second runway would be beneficial for many reasons . Mainly environmental impact , noise pollution , increased road traffic around Gatwick , the roads are in poor state of repairs already , and air traffic I also believe a second runway would be detrimental to village countryside life . Many years ago Lowfield Heath was significantly affected and now our village is at risk! When will the need for continuous expansion of Gatwick stop. If the community give in now then what again in the future , before we become a concrete jungle ! Charlwood does not need increased traffic flow through the village as well as air traffic above ,both have a significant environmental impact both with noise and fuel pollution. Not only that but the planning of more houses being built ? What about our valued green spaces !! I object to this 3rd runway being built ,seeing that there is a 2nd runway already ( in the understanding it’s an emergency standby runway ). WE DO NOT NEED another runway just for big organisational profit !! Yours sincerely Ms Bryony Speck
