I object to the proposed expansion because it is unnecessary and would cause a huge increase in Carbon Emissions and Air Pollution right from the beginning of construction work and continuing to the general running of the airport. Public Transport and local Road Congestion would be very badly affected. I live under the flight path and so hear the noise which I certainly don't want to get worse which of course it would if this expansion is allowed. I am particularly anxious about night flights. I always hear the early morning arrivals, and do not want to be kept awake like this every night. I see no reason to allow this expansion and see every reason not to allow it. It does not make sense economically or environmentally.
