In my lifetime the key negative impacts will doubtless be noise pollution and the effect on the traffic in an already very difficult area. My key objection however is the impact on the future quality of lives of the people and wildlife on this planet. It is hard to understand how we can responsibly be considering airport expansion given what we know about climate change.
