The proposed expansion and growth at Gatwick Airport would have an enormous detrimental effect on the whole local area including much further afield with increased co2 emissions, air pollution and its effects at this critical time for climate control. Here in Ockley the noise increase from Aircraft would add further to the already discomfort to our daily lives. The massive congestion due to increased traffic on our primarily rural roads and lanes in this designated area of outstanding natural beauty would be a travesty. This proposal is simply in the wrong place, indeed if required at all.
