I am extremely concerned about the damage to the environment and on our personal lives as we already have huge numbers of planes flying over our house. I am doing everything I can in my personal life to reduce my carbon footprint and minimise damage to the planet. A huge increase in flights from Gatwick will undo all this work and is completely unnecessary in my view. I am also concerned from a personal perspective about the noise and disruption from aircraft which fly over our house. At certain times of the year this is already almost continuous and impacts greatly on my life. Overall there will be a negative impact on the whole area, specifically noise, carbon emissions, public transport and road congestion and associated air pollution, local road congestion and parking, water use and flood risk.
