Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

There is absolutely no need for an additional runway at Gatwick. I am a frequent air traveller and, if anything, observe that the volume of travellers at Gatwick and other airports has significantly subsided in recent years as remote working becomes the norm. Adding another runway is simply pandering to foreign investors and flies in the face of all attempts to reduce carbon emissions in this country.
