Limpsfield Parish Council is a democratically elected organisation, representing the residents of the Limpsfield Parish in the District of Tandridge. We have reviewed the expansion plans, studies and information to date and are concerned about the impact that the expansion may have on our Parish, in particular the south of the Parish towards Lingfield. We support the work being done by Tandridge District Council and other Districts and Boroughs in the Area to secure a robust evidence base for the proposals and to establish the strategic implications of the development across the area. Our primary concerns relate to the potential for increased aircraft noise, particularly in the south of the Parish, the impact of CO2 emissions on our Parish and, with regards to transport and traffic, the effects of increased traffic and congestion on the A25, A22 and other roads in and bordering our parish, which are already under a lot of strain.
