Living close to the airport, I am concerned about the increase in air pollution and the impact of this on our health and that of our future family. The impact of having substantially more planes in the sky and increased emissions will also be felt far wider, this is at a time when we are globally trying to combat climate change and move to a greener, more sustainable future. Supporting thousands more workers and passengers, will put more strain on already overwhelmed infrastructure. The noise is currently tollerable but it will become constant. Whilst people are accustomed to living with one airport, bringing into regular use a second runway, will be the equivalent of living with two.
