My concerns are: The increased volume of aircraft during the day and the early hours of the morning therefore further noise and pollutants. This will lead to an inevitable decline in air quality due to higher emissions. I am also concerned regarding the impact of this proposed development will have on the area, the significant damage and impact it will have locally and beyond. Further concerns relate to the AONB environment in addition to the potential impact on housing, employment and infrastructure as well as the wider environmental considerations. We face a climate emergency, and a new runway would add a significant amount of carbon and greenhouse gases. Gatwick’s expansion will lead to huge infrastructure changes, rail, motorway that will inevitably affect the already congested South East.
