I am concerned the impact this will have on the area we live in and have objected to the application and the significant damage and impact it will have on our village and local area. There are great concerns regarding noise and pollutants, on residents and on the AONB & SSI environment around us, also on the major tourist attractions in this area such as Hever Castle which currently provide employment in this area. Furthermore I work from home and my business is certainly impacted even by the already excessive volume of constant air traffic overhead. I am concerned that over the past years, as air traffic has increased over the area, we have been promised that technology for quieter aircraft would offset this. Again this is an argument that is being used - there is no offset in this AONB and SSI. I have lived here for over 20 years and the impact of current air traffic is untenable never mind before the opening of this proposed runway.
