I am concerned about the increase of greenhouse gases when there is a climate emergency and the next 10 years will be crucial to lowering the worlds emissions to avoid temperatures rising that man will not be able to do anything about and our children's children will receive a world that they will find hard to live in. Gatwick’s plan is to increase flights with a second runway, meaning there’d be an extra 101,000 flights a year which is criminal and outrageous when we need to reduce drastically all emissions! This will also create more pressure on the rail and road networks serving the airport, with 76 million more passengers per year adding to a further decline in air quality
