I don’t want this at all. Where I live in [REDACTED] leads directly to Gatwick Airport. A new runway will increase the amount of traffic through our village and directly onto [REDACTED]. We already suffer from excess traffic most breaking the speed limit. I would say that the majority of traffic exceeds the speed limit. I volunteer for community speed watch and see this for myself. We are suspicious that the emergency runway is already being used! [REDACTED] also gets aircraft from Heathrow! They turn almost in front of my house. The Gatwick traffic goes over the house at the back. When I was Chairman of Leigh Parish Council I went down to Gatwick to speak with the powers that be but they just deny everything and even worse at that time they didn’t even know where Leigh is!!!
