This project will dramatically increase traffic on local roads, increase pollution from road and air traffic and noise from aircraft overflying local residents. It is going against government net zero targets by increasing air traffic. It will devalue properties close to the airport and flightpaths and make local housing less desirable to residents and potential buyers. As I live under the flight path already, and in the Surrey area of outstanding natural beauty, I can just about cope with the current number of take offs since the flightpath patterns changed. The thought of the number of flights doubling fills me with horror. In particular the night flights I find very disturbing.
