No objection to the use of the emergency runway at Gatwick - it is being utilised and the impact of expanding it will not take away the swathes of Green Belt that was initially thought to happen with a NEW second runway. Living in both Horley and Norwood Hill noise impact from Gatwick does not affect us - it is like living next to a train track you get used to it. It is inevitable expansion needs to take place as the population increase - I would like to see more of a spread of the population across the UK and in more Northern Airports better infrastructure too. It is a form of carbon footprint.
