The UK government is not on target to meet the objectives of its climate strategy and net zero plan. Gatwick's plans will negatively impact the net zero plan. Airport expansion is no longer viable for the UK. The world is on a precipice, 20th century thinking will not enable us to survive as a species, airport expansion is old thinking. The young people of the world demand better from you. This massive development will have severe effects on noise, carbon emissions, public transport, road congestion, air pollution. It will create huge pressure on afforable housing, local road congestion, parking, water use and food risk. I am terrified by the substantial increase in carbon emissions this project would generate plus other associated climate negative impacts. No proven techs for reducing aviation afmissions at scale. Would have serious effect on UKs ability to meet Co2 targets. Co2 would result from construction and increased traffic. Air pollution a major cause of UK deaths would be increased. Economic benefits overstated ref CAGNE, economic disadvantages signjficant as per CAGNE
