I live in a peaceful rural community, that already suffers disproportionately from the impact of low flying aircraft on their final turn before lining up to land at Gatwick. Claims by Gatwick and NATS that they ‘spread’ the impact are not realistic. A second runway will simply increase the noise impact and probably the hours of usage (Gatwick will of course want to see a significant return from their investment) We are adjacent to AONBs so designated to be enjoyed and appreciated by any who visit. Aircraft noise has a huge impact on this enjoyment.
