The significant impact this expansion would have on the surrounding countryside and the people who live in Kent and Sussex does not seem to be of paramount importance to the management of Garwick Airport Ltd their sole concern is to expand regardless of the environmental impact on the planet - just to increase their profits. The majority of people who live in this area are extremely concerned about this planning application for all the following reasons: - The millions of tons of extra CO2 pumped into the atmosphere - contributing to poor air quality and climate change - More noise from all the extra flight paths covering Kent & Sussex - Increased pressure on housing, schools, doctors and hospitals - The volume of traffic on our already congested roads including the M23 & M25 - False promises for permanent skilled jobs (these will not materialise because of increasing automation). Greener sustainable jobs are needed to reach net zero!
