As a local resident, I object to this additional runway on the following grounds: - increase in aircraft noise that will impact on my ability to enjoy my home and garden - impact on climate change and the local environmental impact - the likely devaluation of my home due to the increased air traffic overhead and resulting noise and pollution - the adverse impact on mine and my family’s wellbeing through the increase in aircraft movements - the increased traffic around the local area - the decline in air quality - currently, there is no second runway, the additional runway operates in conjunction with the main runway and is only used when the main runway is not being used – so I object to the misleading comments by Gatwick to residents about the current existence of a ‘second’ runway
