Air travel is the most pollution-emitting form of transport. Fossil fuels need to be kept in the ground, when we use them we contribute to global heating and the climate catastrophe. Other forms of transport are accessible, and should be financed and encouraged, for the good of all living things on earth. Fossil fuel emissions from the Global North have caused an incredible amount of damage, particularly in the Global South. The Global North needs to repay its climate debt and stop making the situation worse by continuing to pollute more and more.
