Brockham and surrounding areas already has significant Gatwick and Heathrow air traffic overhead, some low flying. The proposed new runway at Gatwick will greatly affect the population below due to increased noise, traffic flow through Brockham and pollution. Is this runway really necessary as it will just load up the Gatwick area with a massive requirement for housing in an already saturated area of the South-East and the transport infrastructure will be totally inadequate? Regarding pollution, we already have a huge amount of contrails blocking out our blue skies in Brockham. We have ULEZ zones for cars close in Surrey, how will it help the situation to have yet more output from the many extra aircraft using Gatwick.
