Our current address already has noise from flights, for which I have raised complaints to Gatwick directly previously. The need for additional flight capacity from Gatwick should be carefully evaluated initially and then balanced against the proposective effects of local residents living with compounded amounts noise pollution and the fact that additional flight traffic will cause further road traffic congestion, futher emissions pollution and increased background noise levels for a lot of the south east. No additional traffic should be placed into current flight paths and night flights should also be restricted under any change in either quantity of flights or airport infrastructure. Whilt the submitted expansion plans occur 'mostly on existing airport property' according to the proposal material, the effects of increasing air traffic will be felt in all surrounding areas, which will bring no benefit to those worst affected.
