Main impacts: More flights will add to the CO2 and air pollution in the world; will increase noise pollution for those under the flight path and people living near to Gatwick; will be yet more concrete for water runoff onto the surrounding grass/ground, and less space for tree planting/ meadow creation to increase biodiversity.
