Increasing flights by100,000 per annum will have an adverse environmental impact specifically increased traffic congestion and accompanying CO2 emissions affecting a large populated area. Noise pollution will increase substantially. Flights between 3.00a.m-4.00a.m are already disturbing my sleep. The project will benefit no one except Gatwick's shareholders - why should they benefit at the expense of local communities quality of life?
