The key issue is one of a greater impact on noise and air pollution for the surrounding villages which are already adversely affected by Gatwick operations. This will generally increase the risk of harmful pollution affecting the local residents. In addition, there will be a substantial further increase of traffic congestion in an area which does not have the facilities to cope. Good Afternoon, I have tried to access the PINS web link to register my objection but it is not working. I therefore am emailing to register my objection to the use of the emergency runway which will have a significant detrimental impact on the neighbouring villages with more noise pollution, traffic pollution and aircraft pollution.
