Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

I oppose this Gatwick Airport application for a northern runway because it is a new runway. Current aircraft noise regularly disturbs our sleep. An increase to this will only make things worse for everyone living around Gatwick airport. Extra traffic will cause pollution, and congestion on small roads leading to the airport. London Heathrow airport is in a much better position to deal with this. And most of all we are living in a climate emergency. A new runway would add a significant amount of carbon and greenhouse gases.
