I am very concerned about any expansion. We are already impacted by noise (day and night) as well as air pollution. Apart from the personal impact I do not feel our countryside, environment and local infrastructure is able to cope with more growth. The rail service is inadequate for current needs and already passengers on flights arriving late at night are not able to access public transport. However, local roads cannot ( and should not) take more traffic. Furthermore, finding employees for many positions at Gatwick is already challenging and moving new people into the area is impractical. Accommodation is in short supply and very expensive. Building even more housing and damaging the precious countryside even further is undesirable. This is an unsuitable proposition.
