My home (Redacted) is on the flight path. The majority of flights take off towards Horsham then bank right in a semi-circle. I have on many occasions registered a complaint about aircraft noise in the early hours of the morning between 0100 and 0500 when I have been awoken by aircraft noise. Perhaps a flight is running late and the pilot thinks it is OK to be on (what sounds like) full throttle. It isn't! I have friends who live in (Redacted) and their house is on the flightpath. I am often invited to have a coffee after we have been bellringing for the Sunday morning service and whenever an aircraft flies over you have to stop talking due to the noise. Gatwick has operated VERY well for many years with one runway and I do not see the need/necessity for a second runway. It will only exacerbate an existing problem and I will be protesting vehemently as and when the opportunity arises.
