My home is situated approximately 1.5 miles from the centreline of the main runway, between Gatwick and the M23 I purchased my home in 2012, prior to any proposal to extend or bring into force the North Runway extension program Whilst the current air traffic is bearable, the addition of however many additional new flights will NOT be; specifically as the new runway extension will place ALL departing flights directly over my roof Combined also with the fact that the Gatwick Diamond group have proposed to develop all the greenbelt land surrounding my home with the new Gatwick Green Science Park Firstly, the environmental impact will be massive Air quality will deteriorate, noise levels will increase dramatically, and my home will be surrounded by Amazon Warehouse's, an Industrial Park and a Bus Depot This will then result in my home losing significant value and making it impossible to sell anyway Yet despite all this, No One has discussed or brought forward any proposal to compensate those that live here There is absolutely NO Benefit to myself or any of my neighbours and as such I strongly reject any proposal .. This will bring a BLIGHT to my quality of life and my home I strongly recommend Government officials visiting the people who have lived here so may years and see what is will.mean to them .. I question how those that support these developments would respond, if suddenly a new railway or motorway was proposed, at the rear of their homes
