I am concerned about a further increase in noise, which already became much worse after the recent flight path change. Planes now fly directly over our house, with the chimneys sucking down the noise and waking me most days. This is an area of outstanding beauty and the increase in pollution is of great concern. There will be increased traffic on an already very busy M25/ M 23. With the unpredictable train service this is inevitable . Gatwick provides plenty of flights as it stands. Airports in the North should be expanded so that people don't have to travel down South to get to their desired destinations as they do presently. This would reduce demand on Gatwick and Heathrow. I also do not believe that Gatwick's present infrastructure can cope with increased passengers. Traffic jams Ques in immigration, overflowing restaurants already make Gatwick a very unpleasant airport to travel through. More flights and passengers will make it unbearable. The South East does not need more flights, traffic, noise and pollution.
