My reasons: Area is subject to flooding; The disruption to the area whilst the runway is being built; Are local residents going to be able to secure jobs, decent ones on proper contracts and not on zero contract hours whilst construction is under way; Will there be jobs for locals after the construction; Housing needs, is this being addressed after the runway is up and running; Infrastructure - rail links, bus services, gp surgeries, dentists, schools etc all need to be looked into.
